9/5/2010 Central Wyoming Counseling Center Job Description: Residential Specialist PROGRAM: Residential Facilities TITLE: Residential Specialist DESCRIPTION: Staff needed to work in a state-of-the-art residential treatment facility. Work on a team in the supervision of adult male, adult female and adolescent male and female residents. Shifts vary, part time/full time. Evenings, nights, weekends, holidays. Wage determined by shift. (base wage $10.50 per hour) Must be 21 years of age with high school diploma/GED. No experience necessary. Background check, clean driving record and WY drivers license required. REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1 Supervision of clients and guests in the residential program. 2 Enforcement of program rules with clients. 3 Monitoring and documentation of client activities. 4 Cooking and household chores as assigned by the supervisor. 5 Informing therapists and supervisor of concerns regarding clients. 6 Attends staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and other activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of CWCC operations. 7 Participates in program development activities. 8 Maintains current certification in First Aid, CPR, and Universal Precautions Procedures. 9 Other duties as assigned by Supervisor of Residential Facilities or by the Executive Director.
