Central is here to connect you with a therapist as quickly as possible. We offer open access hours and on-call therapists that are available 24/7.
Walk-in, Open Access Intake Program is available:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
- Tuesday, Thursday: 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
No appointment is necessary, everyone coming in during this time will be seen by a therapist.
On-call therapists are available 24/7. You can call us on the phone between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday. After business hours or during the weekend your call will be connected to a therapist through our answering service.

When are Central’s walk-in hours?
Central’s Walk-in, Open Access Intake Program is available:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
- Tuesday, Thursday: 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

How much do you charge?
At Central, we are in-network with many different forms of insurance and will submit bills on your behalf.
We also offer a sliding fee scale available to all clients, based on household size and income. To take advantage of this opportunity, you will need the following information:
- Proof of income
- Social Security number
- Insurance/benefits card
- Government provided photo ID
I am out of my medications. Can I see a psychiatrist to get more?
If you are currently a client, you can visit our pharmacy, or schedule an appointment with one of our psychiatrists.
Our on-site Genoa pharmacy and pharmacists are available to provide full service for patients. The on-site pharmacy supports and complements primary healthcare and psychiatric needs.
Genoa’s Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Closed 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm for lunch
What insurance do you accept?
While Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance is accepted; all Wyoming residents are eligible to receive services, regardless of their ability to pay. And a sliding fee scale is available for those who qualify.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
First appointments can be intimidating to some patients. Central tries to make the experience as easy as possible. In order to come prepared, you will need to bring:
- Insurance/benefits card (private, Medicare, Medicaid or Equality Care)
- Social Security number
- Government provided photo id (driver’s license, State-issued ID card, military ID)
- Proof of income (if requesting financial assistance)
- Referral source
- Payment

How long will it be before I can see someone?
You can visit Central during our open access, walk-in hours and see a therapist on a first come first serve basis, or you can schedule an appointment at a mutually agreed time.

Do you offer suicide prevention?
We offer Crisis Stabilization Services (CSS). These services bring support to individuals who are experiencing intense psychiatric, suicidal or substance abuse symptoms.

These services can be requested by the individual, their family, their correctional facility, or another appropriate third party.

Central is open 5 days a week.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Is my treatment confidential?
Every patient is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
